Complete Concussions

Neuro-Optometrist

Training courses and continuing education for Neuro-Optometrist.

Concussion Care is a Team Sport.

We understand the significance of visual disorders following concussion and the importance of having qualified vision professionals as part of the multidisciplinary care team.

The goal of Complete Concussions is to connect concussion-trained healthcare professionals of all types in communities all around the world to improve accessibility and outcomes for patients.  Vision therapy is a huge part of this picture.
Complete Concussions is not here to train Neuro-Optometrists on how to provide vision therapy.  That is your expertise.  However, our role is to provide healthcare professionals with a strong understanding of concussion overall from pathophysiology, biomechanics, acute assessment and management, and most importantly, persistent concussion symptoms.  This ensures that all healthcare professionals are on the same page, know what eachothers role is, and know when to refer to others in the network.

The course that we recommend for vision therapists is the Physicians & Specialists Course!  Upon completion of this course, Neuro-Optometrists will have the opportunity to be listed on our map of certified providers and have access to our integrated software system which connects clinics throughout our network and connects directly to our Concussion Tracker smartphone application.
