We are pleased to officially announce an international partnership between Complete Concussions and NeuroFlex, along with its sister technology ReFlex. This collaboration brings new objective assessment technology directly to our clinic network.
NeuroFlex is a virtual reality (VR) platform designed to objectively measure oculomotor and vestibular performance. The technology uses infrared sensors to track head and eye movements simultaneously. This allows clinicians to gather real-time data instead of relying on static assessment methods.
Key Highlights of the Partnership:
International Recognition: NeuroFlex was selected as a medical protocol for the FIFA World Cup. The company has supported medical protocols across major international sporting environments, recently deploying 16 units for a FIFA World Cup in the US.
Expert Backing: Professor Jon Patricios is the co-lead author of the 2023 International Consensus Statement on Concussion in Sport and an advisor to World Rugby, UEFA, the NFL, and FIFA. He describes NeuroFlex as the most significant advancement he has seen in the last fifteen years.
Assessment and Rehab: The platform includes built-in, customizable rehabilitation exercises. Additionally, the new ReFlex app enables rehab training on commercially available headsets.
Future Integration: Our long-term goal is to integrate NeuroFlex data directly into the Complete Concussions ecosystem to assist with diagnostic and rehabilitation algorithms.
