The health and safety of our athletes is the first priority for the Peterborough Lakers. This program and our partnership with CCMI and Total Physiotherapy have been an integral part of our player health management system this season. This concussion protocol offers our staff and athletes piece of mind should a player suffer a concussion.
The Complete Concussion Management protocol is an excellent resource for providing a comprehensive, streamlined management strategy for concussions in any sports organization. This program is a perfect fit for all levels – from our Olympic teams to grassroots level freestyle skiing.
The Langley Rams are committed to player safety. We have a team doctor and trained staff to ensure players are taken care of on and off the field. We are proud to partner with CCMI and Rebound Sport and Spine to offer the best-in-class care and to ensure the future health of our players.
Though concussions can’t always be prevented. As a community, we can work together to recognize the symptoms, support treatment and recovery, and reduce the risk of additional injuries during recovery. The CCMI program is a tool and resource that brings us together in this endeavour. Partnering with CCMI has been a positive step forward in our updated concussion policies and protocols.
As an organization, our mission is to develop great hockey players both on and off the ice, and most importantly, to protect the health and safety of our athletes. The implementation of this concussion protocol helps us to achieve our goal, allowing our athletes to play the sport they love for years to come.
Taking the CCMI course has provided me with the knowledge and necessary tools to recognize and manage concussions effectively, as well as educate my surrounding community. The monthly research updates allow me to stay current with the best evidence available which enables me to provide optimal care.

As a clinic owner I really value knowing that every clinician I hire is providing the absolute best treatment possible. Having 10 certified CCMI practitioners gives me that confidence, and we are able to test and treat hundreds of kids and teens in our community because of it.
The research that CCMI covers is extensive. The science of concussion is clear and concise with this certified program. I was lucky enough to share a mutual client with another physiotherapist who was going through PCS and she recommended that I give Back On Track Physiotherapy a call and go in for a concussion assessment as she had found the program so beneficial for her. Getting involved in the program was the best thing I did and the knowledge advice made me feel much more confident in the treatment I was receiving.

CCMI gave me the best gift in life – my health back! After nearly 6 years of suffering, seeing multiple specialists, doctors, and neurologists who were all convinced this was permanent, Dr. Marshall recognized the root cause of all my symptoms, instantly took away many of those symptoms, and within 2 months discharged me!
Our experience at Craven Sports was excellent every single time. There were 4 concussions in my family in a one-year period and we visited them for all treatment. I continue to refer there often.
