We are proud to announce our partnership with The Cyclists’ Alliance (TCA), the independent voice of women’s professional cycling.

This matters to us because concussion care should not depend on what sport you play, where you live, what resources your team has, or how confident you feel speaking up in the moment. Brain health deserves consistent, evidence-based support everywhere athletes compete.

Women’s professional cycling is growing rapidly. The athletes are world-class. The demands are high. And when crashes happen, concussion can be one of the most challenging injuries to navigate. Symptoms can be subtle. They can show up later. They can be easy to minimize, especially in an environment where riders are expected to recover quickly and keep moving.

That is exactly why this partnership matters.

What the partnership provides

Through this partnership, riders supported by The Cyclists’ Alliance will have access to evidence-based concussion education and resources, including:

  • Access to the Complete Concussions app
  • Tools to support recognition of concussion symptoms and next-step decision-making
  • Referral pathways to specialist services when appropriate

Together, we are working to strengthen rider safety, awareness, and long-term wellbeing across women’s professional cycling.

Why we are supporting The Cyclists’ Alliance

The Cyclists’ Alliance exists to ensure female riders can race with greater confidence and support, and build a sustainable career in the sport. Their work is rooted in advocacy, education, and support services, with a clear commitment to fair and safe working conditions and athlete wellbeing.

That aligns with what we do every day.

Concussion is not only a moment of impact. It is what happens afterward that often determines the outcome. When symptoms go unrecognized or unreported, athletes can be left guessing, pushing through, or returning too soon. That can affect performance, confidence, mental wellbeing, and long-term health.

We believe riders deserve better than that. Education should be easy to access. Support should be clear. Care should be evidence-based. And athletes should feel empowered to prioritize their brain health without fear that it will cost them opportunity.

“This partnership with Complete Concussions reinforces The Cyclists’ Alliance commitment to rider safety by expanding riders’ access to evidence-based concussion education and support. Knowledge is power; the Complete Concussions app is an invaluable tool for athletes to take ownership of their health and wellbeing by helping them to recognise, report, and manage concussion.”
– Deena Blacking, Managing Director, The Cyclists’ Alliance

We are excited to work with The Cyclists’ Alliance and the athletes they represent. This is an important step forward for women’s professional cycling and a meaningful way to extend concussion education and support to more riders.
